I called Hollis for a roofing job in Tulsa… not fully knowing he was based in OKC. He was able to come inspect my roof within 48 hours of my call when every other company told me it would be a week.
He was extremely polite, professional, and over explained the findings and process to me. He showed up for me when the insurance adjuster came, to ensure everything was in order and done properly (storm damage to roof). He walked me through the steps of getting this done with him/insurance and I never felt overwhelmed.
His guys who did the work on my house were also professional, polite, and did a fantastic job on my roof/gutters/fascia. They were timely, clean, and efficient at their jobs.
I feel like if I had gone with anyone else I’d still be waiting on it to get done and would have most likely been stressed/overwhelmed at the process.
Cannot recommend A Better Way enough- will be calling them in the future for any home-construction related needs!

A Better Way Roofing and Construction was one of the vendors I requested an estimate from when looking to replace a roof on a rental property. Like the other companies, they were prompt at coming to the house and providing a quote. Their quote was in the middle (price wise) of the other vendors. One of the reasons I selected them is their communication, availability, and reasonable and competitive price. I was also impressed their quote included the exact same items that my “initial selected vendor” provided, (which was based on the insurance adjusters list)…but that’s another story. A Better Way did not have the adjusters findings, but their quote covered all the adjuster had listed. That was affirmation to me that A Better Way is thorough.
I did some research by looking at reviews, checking BBB, and requesting insurance coverage for the companies. Even though A Better Way is fairly new (I think April 2024), that did not scare me off. My thinking is that a new company would be inclined to do a great job to develop a good reputation as they grow.
I was impressed with my communication with Hollis who answered my questions and shared his knowledge. We talked about pros and cons of options with a focus on the prevalent and variable weather in OK City.
I wanted to have the roof installed prior to the end of the year. We set an appointment for the day after Christmas. The crew showed up and started the work around 7:30 a.m. My tenant said there were A LOT of workers, maybe 7 or 8 people. This made the installation go quickly. I think it was because possible rain was in the forecast. I definitely appreciate they were completed before the light rain started.
Overall, I am happy with my interactions with A Better Way and the installation of the roof. I would easily recommend their roofing services.
